It was 1972 when Alessandro Banchelli opened his first clothing and accessories store for men in Arezzo’s Via San Giovanni Decollato, driven by the desire to pass on to his customers an exclusive style, of a nature that is at once informal and also sought-after.
In 1975 Banchelli relocated to Corso Italia near the bastions of the old city wall, where he continued to offer his classic clothing and accessories, revisited in a contemporary key, with a particular attention to new trends in fabrics, colours and finishing touches.
In 1992 the shop was enlarged to include the corner building, and expanded considerably to occupy two floors. The project was realized by the architect Roberto Baciocchi, and gave space to new prestigious Made in Italy brands and the men’s fragrances, Creed and Floris, synonymous since the 1700s with quality, sophistication and originality.
In March 2016, after a further restyling of the premises by architect Baciocchi, Alessandro’s experience and professionality was joined by the creative flair of his wife Eleonora Cristini, who immediately presented an original and refined selection of items of clothing and women’s accessories of the best brands.
